I started by focusing on the company's public-facing website, shaping the initial user impression. My role evolved as I moved to the new user experience team, where I gained a deep understanding of the Apify Console and worked to improve the onboarding flow for various user personas. This comprehensive view of the user journey culminated in my role on the acquisition team, where I leveraged my deep understanding of user behavior and the console experience to develop more effective strategies for acquiring new users.

What I’ve done so far

  • Brave to challenge the existing situation. While challenging the situation, I often ask the support from the data team and look into data to back up my point of view.
  • Think about the setting of A/B testing for validating design output

As a pure artist who jumped into the digital area, it was the period I switched my mindset to more deep consideration of user experience while working closely with UX designer. I’ve gained experience in collaborating in a global team, communicating with developers and engineers, doing user research, adapting myself with flexible ability to the diversity of our products, and considering business needs and technical constraints. More specific technique parts would be providing wireframes and prototypes and maintaining the design system.

Though it wasn't a job related to tech products, I feel the experience was not in vain. I’ve worked on several projects and needed to provide qualified visuals for bookstore branches around Taiwan. Worked closely with the project manager and kept outputs within budget. I’ve been trained by my supervisor the “Eagle eyes with details”. That’s how I manage to assure the quality of visuals and am able to collaborate with developers smoothly in my current position.
